i am trying to decide whether i should learn python or javascript myself
I think JS probably good to know to with Python but guess depends on what you want to use for. JS probably more good for a lot of presentation level and more visual kind of things but Python is more general purpose and you can to more different things with it. I think even if one knows Python, probably good to know HTML and CSS to make present better visuals output.
