Beer Tasting - Dunkler Bock ('Texels Bock ' by Texelse Bierbrouwerij)

It’s nice to see BTC reclaiming some lost ground after the big sell off. A positive start for the new month.

As we know, volatility is very low and getting lower so prices don’t move as much. Short sellers need to periodically buy back to cover so we have this swings which can get frustrating. Not much to do here until the next big bull. Alts can still give decent profits. Let’s see if this green momentum holds into the next week. Right now I’d love to see it above 6400 which has been a ceiling for the past week or more.

Finding the best bock in the market is tricky, especially since it’s seasonal for the autumn. I’ll taste a wide range of offerings and I wonder if I’ll agree with popular assessment.

Aroma	Cherry syrup. Plum. Malt.
Taste	Gently sweet and creamy. Plum. Roasty malts.
Palate	Silky and a bit foamy. Medium carbonation. Roasty sweet aftertaste.

Overall	One of the better bocks available right now. Decent alcohol, great taste. I don’t know what’s with 0.03 l smaller bottle. Completely unnecessary.
Score (subjective)	- 16/20

Price: 1.5 euro (1.70$) for 0.33. Bottle at a store. Mid-range
