Nice Cans is an 8.2% abv Imperial/Double IPA made by Shebeen Brewing Company in Wolcott, Connecticut. Shebeen Brewing Company was launched in 2013 and has built a reputation as a great contract brewery for other local beer makers. They are home to the 'Cannoli Beer' made with select European grains, cream, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla to create a beer that simulates the famous Italian dessert pastry. Nice Cans is a hard hitting yet juicy IPA made with Mandarina Bavaria hops.

The Can

Nice Cans is served in a full pint can. The label features two large oranges sitting on a blank white background. The name of the beer is a pun of the phrase 'Nice Cans', which means "Nice Tits". The two large, round oranges are supposed to make you think of some appealing female breasts. Overall, Nice Cans has a nice can.

The Beer

Nice Cans is a deep orange when poured into a glass. It forms a thick foamy head at the top. The Mandarina Bavaria Hops give this beer a big citrus flavor like a Mandarin Orange. The high 8.2% alcohol content makes it a strong and dangerous beer. It has a bit of a boozy taste, but the orange juiciness masks it just enough to make it tasty. I look forward to trying more beer from the Shebeen Brewing Company in the future.
