BeetleCoin, a decentralized cryptocurrency recently announced the launch of its new wallet v2.1. This wallet comes in with loads of new features which the Beetle team has planned for its community.

This wallet will introduce the most awaited TierNode system where every person gets a chance to earn passive income depending on the kind of node he is running. The Tier is divided into three levels.

Basic Node
==> Requires 10000 Beets
==> Will earn 4% of block reward

Classic Node
==> Requires 50000 Beets
==> Will earn 19% of block reward

Standard Node
==> Requires 150000 Beets
==> Will earn 62% of block reward

PoS reward is set to 5%, and there is a new introduction of Dev fees which is 10% of the block reward. The dev fees will be used to enhance the project further.

The new wallet also brings in some security changes such as-

==> Security patch to prevent stake vulnerability
==> Security patch to avoid stealing of private keys

One other feature that is being introduced is support for "Atomic Swap". Now some of you must be wondering what I "Atomic Swap". Well, in simple words it's a technology that enables two parties to exchange different cryptocurrencies without the risk of one party defaulting on the trade. This also helps in reducing the need for centralized exchanges and people losing their funds due to these exchanges either closing down or hackers stealing funds.
