Travel through time
My name is docor. Doctor dr. who ? :) That is name of great British sci-fi tv serial I always liked to watch. It covers alliens, time travels, other worlds, other civilizations etc... Doctor travels through time with help of his time machine called Tardis which is old police box bigger inside that outside. It's basically space ship capable of traveling trough time and space. I write all of this because today I felt like I traveled through time to be precise in the past.
Yes I need to come to address Milentija Popovica 25 New Belgrade around 9 o'clock. I sit comfortable in tram nr. 9 on it's first stop. I sit and enjoyed ride until I saw tram coming in other direction wearing notice "It does not go over bridge!" meaning it is not going from old to new part of Belgrade across river Sava. WTF I meant ? How will I get there then ? I remember route I used while I was high school boy which is with buses 17 and 18 in 1990ies. They were overcrowded, it was very hard t get in, but I had success in that event. It was time of UN sanctions against Serbia, lack of oil and lack of buses.
Today on 16. January of 2020. I stand on same bus stop waiting for those buses. I was upset because a lot of people waited it too, it was total traffic collapse with plenty of cars, trucks, buses and struggling police officer who should regulate all that traffic. Soon bus number 17 came full that people almost fall out from it once it stopped on station and open doors. Bunch of people like lions competed in event called how to enter in overcrowded bus by pushing people already in. :) I refused to enter inside knowing other bus will come. After a while second came full like previous and after a while third. It was impossible to enter inside. After hour of waiting on station bus number 18 finally came and I managed to enter inside somehow. Standing on one foot, holding holder which was far away. Bus started it's stop start voyage because of heavy traffic.
After 20-30 minutes which looked like eternity it finaly came to Sava Centar station and I went out swearing vice mayor of Belgrade Goran Vesic in myself. He's main villain in town who does not care for ordinary people or for their little problems like how to get to job on time. He's not driving with buses. He's big boy! I felt like I am in 1990ies again, just older. I wondered how is it possible that neither authority in this city did not have success in solving traffic issues. Socialist Party in 1990 said it is sanction times,no oil we can't, SPO party was to busy giving flats to eachother, Democratic party made one more bridge, but didn't solve problem and now Advanced Party which is in power can't do it too.
Nothing much changed since 1990ies! It's end time for foreign compulsory administration here, one which will build SUBWAY in this city. These non competent home politicians from all parties can't solve this urgent problem or any problem. For the end if you know serbian you can enjoy this funny song about vice mayor Goran Vesic:
