After an election without opposition to vote for and a turn out rate of below 50% there were Protests in the capital of Benin, Cotonou. They had 2 parties to choose which both are allied to President Patrice Talon. After Police tried to disperse protestors with shots and tear gas. A woman has been shot in the back and died.


The number of victims is unknown.
The Police refuses to tell the number of victims.
