Aceh Government cooperates with PT Dirgantara Indonesia
BANDA ACEH - Aceh Governor Irwandi Yusuf fulfilled the invitation of BUMN PT. Dirgantara Indonesia (PT. DI) to Singapore in order to establish cooperation in the aerospace, Wednesday, February 7, 2018. The cooperation aims to synergize and optimize aircraft procurement plan and the development of Indonesian Aerospace N-219 aircraft assembly line in Aceh.
This was conveyed by the Special Staff of the Governor of Aceh, Hendri Yuzal, as quoted by the Head of the Public Relations Bureau of the Government of Aceh Mulyadi Nurdin, LC, MH, Wed, 7 February 2018.
Mulyadi said, in addition to cooperation in the establishment of assembly line facility in Aceh Indonesian Aerospace N-219 aircraft, the two sides also cooperated in the development of human resources sons and daughters of the Aceh region in order to support the development of the aerospace industry in Aceh.
"The cooperation plan have long been pioneered and we should be grateful for one large state-owned enterprises in Indonesia such as PT Dirgantara Indonesia is willing to open the aircraft assembly line in Aceh," said Nurdin citing Hendri Mulyadi Yuzal.
Mulyadi added, the signing of the cooperation between the Government of Aceh and PT DI was witnessed directly by the Minister of BUMN, Rini Soemarno.
Rini Soemarno on this occasion expressed his appreciation for the commitment of the Governor of Aceh in order to safeguard the maritime territory of the Republic of Indonesia.
"I strongly support the plan of Governor Irwandi Yusuf, let alone buy aircraft in order to protect our marine area from illegal fishing and inhibit the entry of drugs from abroad through the waters," said the Minister of SOEs.
Three Working Cabinet ministers attended the event, which coincided with the opening of the 2018 Singapore Airshow which was also enlivened by PT DI. They are Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi, Defense Minister Ryamizard Ryacudu, and BUMN Minister Rini Soemarno. While from Aceh also attended the Head of Department of Transportation Zulkarnaini.
