Thankful
Good afternoon Distinguished Steemians and a blessed Weekend to you all. As the week wraps up and another unveils itself in some few hours from now, I want you all to take out sometime and thank God (for those of you that believe in Him) for the wellbeing of all that concerns you. Look for something to be thankful for. Be it an income raise, a promotion, new contract(s) or appointment, safe birth of a child (whether yours or someone else's), for a recovery (either from ill health of physical, emotional or mental trauma), or even for successful acquiring an asset or the like. Just go ahead and look for something to be thankful for.
Do it for the next 5minutes or as you deem fit. No grumbling, no complaining, no whining. Just be thankful. King Solomon says " a merry heart doeth good as medicines but jealousy drieth the bone".
Make this a life style be thankful for everything.
Why You Need to be Thankful
Be thankful you're not on a wheelchair.
Be thankful you're not in the hospital.
Be thankful you're not in a mental institution. Be thankful that even though the divorce was a painful one but you came out with your sanity still intact.
Be thankful that you can afford the car loan.
Be thankful you have a roof over your head. You've got to be thankful you have a cloth on your back.
Be thankful you can afford to send your wards through school (also be thankful if you can't for in due time, you certainly will).
Be thankful you can afford a meal.
Be thankful what you thought would have been the end of you actually made you stronger. You've got to be thankful.
