Rublev didn’t show anything interesting or particular in this year. Last week he made a final on the challenger here, but he played with not the strongest competitors in the first three rounds, beat tired Evans in the semifinal and lost the final to Edmund without any chances. Yesterday he beat Majchrzak, which is not stronger than Fratangelo, with great difficulty in the equal match. He won only 6 points more than Pole player. Fratangelo, for its part, likes Indian Wells very much. His ROI here is almost 25% for 10 matches (6 wins, 4 defeats). In this, he lost to Borna Coric in a third set tie break with an odd of 6, took a set against Djokovic with an odd of 32, played an equal match with Berdych with an odd of 5.8. Yesterday he beat Menendez-Maceiras without too much fuss. I think, he will able to fight with the unstable and tired Russian.
