Cryptocurrencies expectations vs reality

A peer-to-peer electronic cash system that turns out as a digital gold.

A decentralized application platform that becomes an ICO token making machine.

A lot of mistakes have been made, from the security perspective to governance to bandwidth constrains. I just get fascinated by how things have deviated from their initial concept. Don't get me wrong I am a big fan of blockchain technology, but we still have a long way to go and a lot of things to prefect.

I'm super excited by this new projects such as EOS and Cardano. I think they both have all that it takes to work out, and the people behind them are both very aware of the current problems in the crypto space.

But you know, the free market and community are the ones really going to dictate what this platforms will turn out to be.
