May 9 Sin and God's Favor

"Whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the Lord." Proverbs 8:35

We became misfts in God's eternal plan but we've been resurrected by the work of Wisdom Incarnate - Jesus. The wisdom of all eternity is offered to us but we fail to take hold of it. Unfortunately many of us choose momentary pleasures instead of the reliable Word of God or the power of the Holy Spirit. We are always pursuing something but unless it's from God's own mind, it's futile. The favor of God flows like a fountain on those who seek His mind.
