Be Ready For His Coming!

And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. Revelations 22:12 (KJV)

The word “behold” means to look with understanding/comprehension. Jesus Christ is speaking to His believers in Him: He is saying that we should be expectant of Him; He could come at any time that we do not know. This is the more reason why we should be steadfast and immovable in the work that He has committed to us. If He comes and finds you still in the ministry, you have a reward, which commensurate your faithfulness. On the other hand, if you have found your way out of what He has asked you to do for Him; you will lose your reward. This should put the fear of God in us to continue the good work that we are doing for Him. Let us not be carried away by anyone or any circumstances that endanger the role that we are currently playing in His vineyard. Dear beloved, are you discouraged? Encourage yourself with the opening Scripture and continue the good work you are doing for Christ Jesus, because surely He will come and reward your faithfulness. Praise the Lord!
