I would urge you to regard reputation with a grain of salt as it can be ,and often is, bought (which the rep of this brand new @bid.bot account exemplifies).

I love the manual curation idea idea though. I suggested the same thing a while ago. In fact, I was thinking about offering it as a service to other bid bots, but figured the effort wouldn't yield the price I would want.
