The Place Of Consistency On Steemit

Growing up, I have always loved to draw.

So, I'll pick up my pencil and draw whatever I see.

My kid sister(who would be joining the steem platform soon) also loved drawing.

So we'll both make sketches and laugh 😂 at the nonsense we drew.

Truth be told, we only loved drawing....

We were far from being perfect at drawing.

Along the line, I gave up my pencils ✏ and stopped drawing.....saying "I can't draw" but my sister held on to drawing.

She kept drawing every night even if it meant drawing rubbish

She never gave up on her dreams.

And fast forward to this present time, my sister not only draws well but in record time too.

She can almost make a painting even while eyes closed.

She's that good. 😍

How did she get there?
Consistency.

In life, we give up easily when things don't go perfectly or as planned.

There is a place for learning and growth.

Not many want to go through that process.

We all want to become successful immediately so we give up easily when we are stuck in the process.

Habbakuk says....

Though it may tarry, wait for it....For it will surely come to pass.

Consistency has brought me thus far on Steemit.

I know so many people who have given up because they feel the process is so slow.

Perhaps they're getting $0.00 on a regular basis on their posts so they give up trying.
