How slothful and spiteful!
How you failed our heart,
Strong wide chested,
Bravery as fierce as a needle's touch,
Oh sweet melodious rhythm,
Your battle songs echoes,
Down the valley alley,
Vibrating the water,
Causing the birds to backup,
Making the cripple stand for justice,
The blind seeing clearly into the future,
You gave hope to the quitters,
Rekindling our option.
Abruptly you hinder us!!
Making us slaves to our hope,
We bite our lips,
We cry out in bitterness,
We drag our heavy body on the thick soil,
The nights are no more nights,
We find no peace in rest,
For our hope has been threatened,
We shake head in shame,
'Obafemi' has fallen,
Our hero of never become,
