Complicated Love Story

So it all started after I gained admission into the federal university of technology owerri (FUTO) It was a big deal for me as gaining admissions into such big higher institutions wasn't an easy task.

The day of departure came and my family escorted me yo the bus park where they all said their goodbyes and left me. It was time for me yo become a man and face my challenges myself.

Two weeks in school, and all was going well. One hot Tuesday afternoon, on my way back from school, that was when I met Mary. Mary was a nice girl, not too pretty but she was okay. We started talking and that was when I found out we stayed at the same lodge.

Secs turned to minutes, minutes to hours and hours to days, our friendship blossomed and there was no doubt it was going to lead to something extra ordinary.

Everything was going smoothly until I met Joy. Joy was good looking and she had everything I would ever want in a woman. Suddenly I started losing interest in Mary, and for some reason she just wasn't my kinda girl again so I went after Joy.

We became friends and I felt I was gradually winning her over but my heart ached when she showed me a picture of her boyfriend, telling me how much she loved him. Apparently she had taken for a friend who she could confide in so she told me a lot of things that I didn't want to hear about her man.

Going back to Mary wasn't an option as she had lost her taste in my sight... I needed Joy, I was in love with Joy and Mary was in love with me. Why couldn't we just love those who love us instead of loving us who don't care about us...
