Dear friend, I have said in previous posts that true love is a spiritual force. By that I mean that both it and it's origin are unseen, yet its actions make great impact. It's imperative to know however, that though love is a force, it cannot be forced and should not be forced.

Between two persons in a godly love relationship, love means that the two persons are agreeing to walk together because they have chosen to love each other. There is almost nothing as strong as the bond that forms when two persons of the opposite sex willingly come together in mutual unforced agreement to spend the rest of their lives together.

Ladies, please do not manipulate a guy's love for you in whatever way, be it with calls, text messages or through giving gifts to him because you would be at the risk of being drained emotionally. That could be both devastating and terrible. If you make him love you, you'd have to work even harder to make him keep loving you. It's not worth it. Love is supposed to flow freely. Why kill yourself over what can come to you freely? Sometimes it will take him some time to get on the same emotional page for you as you have for him. So, please do not force it or you may ruin yourself in the process.

If you believe in your heart that both of you are meant to be together, then wait patiently and allow God work things out. Do not kill yourself over it. If it never happens, forget it. It was your mind playing tricks on you. Never be desperate. Let him be the one to come all out for you. Besides it was not the intention of the Creator to make a man for a woman, rather He made a woman for a man. So, give him the opportunity to see his need for you. Wear a meek and noble character. Don't throw yourself in his face. God has configured things so that when a man finds a wife, he finds a good thing and obtains favour from the God. It is never the other way round.

Many women who took the first step in initiating a love relationship had to fuel that relationship all through. Trust me, you do not want to be in such an emotional drain. But if you're in one that began that way, now you have learnt this pray and ask God to take the wheels. Surrender henceforth to His way of doing things and trust Him to step in and make things right in your marriage/relationship.

For the gentlemen, please do not lead a girl astray emotionally. If you do not have the intention to start something serious with her, by that I mean a relationship that would lead to marriage then, don't even go about it in the first place. Focus on developing good friendships with your female friends. Treat them as sisters and uphold integrity in your dealings with them. You soon find out that this will help you make a decision and choose when the time comes.

Do not lead a lady astray by beating about the bush with your words and actions. You know ladies can get very emotional when they find someone who gives them his words and promises to be there. Respect that. It's a strength, not a weakness. Do not commonize, trivialize and misuse it. Show respect for their personalities and don't toy with their feelings. Always have the guts and the courage to define a friendship relationship when it isn't a love relationship. Call it what it is and do not sell the vibes that it's what it isn't. There's something called the fear of God. You should keep it always in your mind.

Having said all these, I must admit that friendships are wonderful and meant to be enjoyed within the boundaries of what's right . Remember, everyone deserves genuine love and care from you but there's a lifetime commitment to love in an exclusive way that you should give to only one person, that individual whom you deem fit to spend the rest of your life with.
