Thursday I rode 40 miles into a big storm front outside El Reno Oklahoma but only got the wind from it. I missed the rain and hail. Oklahoma got blasted with rain, hail, and strong wind though. Thankfully it passed before I got there.

Friday I road 54 miles from El Reno straight through Oklahoma city and stayed in Edmond at a camp ground. Saturday I made 31 miles into Chandler where I have to stay put until Monday so I can get mail from post office.

So far other than wind and temps in the 90's I have had good weather. I got a flat front tire Saturday night coming back to hotel from a nice mexican resturant. Got it fixed though.

Wow that is a lot of pedaling for 125 miles. Great place for a nap with those goats under the trees. I don't imagine they would share their great napping spot with you though. Good luck with the post office.

Be careful out there are you using the MTN bike or the recumbent now? Seen where you said the MTN bikes make climbing easier. I know Oklahoma is alotof rolling hills in the Eastern part especially.
