Behind its amazing function, hormones sometimes become the culprit of various problems. For example irregular menstrual cycles or acne that grows blindly in the face. Hormones are also sometimes make us happy or even sad without cause. Everyone must have experienced this, especially during puberty. Certainly, each hormone has a very specific function in each of its target cells. Not surprisingly, one kind of hormone can have different actions according to the cells that receive it when drained by blood. Basically hormones can be divided according to their different composition of the content as follows:

  • Hormones containing amino acids (epinephrine, norepinephrine, thyroxine and triodtironin).
  • Hormones containing lipids (testosterone, progesterone, estrogen, aldosterone, and cortisol).
