Todays healthcare executives are pressed with making tough choices. They are needing new ways to drive bottom line growth. This is also coming from discourse that U.S. Health care systems needing to cut costs. They are looking at utilizing artificial intelligence to conduct clinical documentations significantly reducing costs and freeing up time for clinicians. They have figured out how read human facial cues due to new computational methods.
Chapter Connection (2.5 pts)
Chapter 27 was about the Nervous system and its components. This article connects to the chapter through the human neurology. Due to computational increases that, because of Moore's law, always progress further each year, Ai is becoming capable of understanding the human nervous system and how it functions and operates in real time. What's becoming more prevalent is the idea of them becoming more human like while we become more like machines as Ai systems function more like brains and humans brains utilize and relay on outside technology.

(in your own words)
Picture
Axon A neuron fiber that extends from the c cell body and conducts signal to anotheanother muscle or gland. Different type of extension
Dendrites Neuron fiber that receives signals and con conveys them. Sends and receives signals
Myelin sheath Insulates the axon Helps to speed electrical trans transmission
Nerves A communication line tightly wrapped in in connective tissue How we feel
Nervous System Organ system that forms commcommunication and coordination netwo network. Communication network
Neurons Functional unit of the nervous system A nerve cell
Resting potential Difference in charge across a plasma m membrane of a resting neuron. Works like a car battery
Synapse Relay point between two neurons or be between a neuron and a muscle or gland gland. Electrical and chemical signal signals are relayed here.
Synaptic cleft A narrow gap at the synapse sepersseperating the synaptic terminal and otheroother glands, muscles. Separates the synaptic termin terminal
Threshold The minimum change in a membranes v voltage that must occur to generate a ne nerve signal. Minimum requirement to sen send a signal
