kiwi birds

The kiwi is one of the birds that can not fly and is endemic in New Zealand.

Included in the genus Apteryx, is the only genus present in the Apterygidae family. The size of the bird is like a domestic chicken.

Keep in mind, all kiwis are endangered animals.

Although it can not fly, Kiwi birds still have small wings hidden behind their fur.

Unlike other birds, the kiwi has a nostrils at the end of its beak, not at the base of the beak.
