MY PERSONAL REVIEW ON BIRDCHAIN ICO AND ITS RESULTS…

Every day more people keep getting involved in crypto currencies and the rate of block chain based projects has increased considerably. WHY DID THEY CHOOSE TO USE SMS?
Think about it, the rate of using SMS for personal use has reduced drastically due to the introduction of other messaging avenues like WhatsApp, messenger, viber, etc. But SMS remains widely used in businesses, most companies use SMS to send information to their users, send passwords, send confirmation codes and even OTPs. You might be wondering why companies use SMS instead of e-mails, the answer is simple, when last did you open your email? And when last you read an SMS? See, over 80% of every SMS sent are read within a few minutes, whereas it would take a few days for a particular e-mail to hit 40% reads. And also, the privacy of an SMS is top-notch requiring no platform, whereas emails are dependent on their service provider platforms.
WHAT IS BIRD-CHAIN?
Decentralized applications are the biggest developing thing in the block chain technology. They are able to generate income for millions of people while web protocols can only generate for a few users. Bird-chain is an instant messaging android app that allows everyone to adopt the app and create a passive income for themselves. It aims to reduce the cost of SMS messages for companies while sharing the profit with the Bird-chain DApp adopters. Definitely a win-win.

THE BIRDCHAIN TOKEN
The bird-chain uses a token called BIRD. This token is used to facilitate payment for the DApp users. People selling their unused SMS would be paid with the token while companies wanting to buy these SMS would pay using the token.
During the ICO (initial coin offering), the token would be sold at a low price to encourage people to adopt it. The ICO would start February 6th 2018 – May 31st 2018. The market potential for bird-chain is relatively high because it does not have a direct competitor thereby increasing the demand for it.

ICO DETAILS:

The ico runs through till 31st of May, and which unsold tokens would be burnt. The hardcap is actually low and the supply also low, so I believe sales would end far earlier before schedule.
WHY SHOULD YOU BUY BIRDCHAIN?
You can earn extra income by selling your unused SMS (they are unlimited anyway), watching promotional videos on the DApp and also smartly selling your personal data. Depending on your activities on the DApp, you should be able to earn at least $150 per month.
WOULD THE DAPP NOT INVADE MY PRIVACY?
A quick answer is NO. All the DApp requires is for you to install it and chat with your friends and family while it sells your unused SMS units in the background. Furthermore, it would never collect your personal data like your contact list, phone number, name etc.
MY CONCLUSION.
Think about getting rewards for using SMS that you would never have used. Think about companies paying less for units they would have bought at jaw dropping prices. I think this is a beautiful initiative and it definitely deserves a 4.5 out of 5.
