Baby-magpies

Three baby-magpies which've come yesterday were placed into the open-air enviary. They are completely healthy and need only that someone provide them with food and water. Kids were pretty cunning creatures. I did not know that they already know how to eat on their own. When I brought food, they opened my beaks together and I fed them. Later, their curator called to find out how their first day passed at the shelter. I told her everything and she was surprised: "Did you feed them? They did not eat themselves?" It turned out that babies are good at eating alone, but prefer that someone feed them.
