The common starling (Sturnus vulgaris), also known as the European starling
Up to this point, the starling I saw live only in the cemetery near the forest. He was sitting on a branch at the birdhouse. It was May 2017. And during the year I have not seen them anywhere else!
But this year, I was finally able to see them closer. Our meeting took place on the coastal forest. The starling was alone, he very noisily explored the earth in search of insects, throwing up old leaves.
Outwardly and in size, it looks like a thrush. But unlike them, their beak is much longer, and very bright yellow. It is also notable for its wonderful plumage. Incredible iridescent plumage, purple, green, blue glow.
