The common chaffinch (Fringilla coelebs), female,

Sometimes it amazes me how much the behavior of birds changes depending on the seasons.
A completely fearless female chaffinch, she jumped on the ground and looked for insects that had just appeared. She was absolutely not embarrassed that I was next to her.

Then I watched as a male and a female roamed the grass alongside a noisy group of people.
But after a while, when they build a nest, their lifestyle changes completely. They become secretive, males stop singing. And they are in their bird cares, namely in feeding the chicks.
