The common rosefinch (Carpodacus erythrinus) or scarlet rosefinch
This beautiful "red sparrow" inhabits open spaces such as forest edges, as well as everywhere where there are low thickets. Interestingly, they build nests high, above two meters, but live in small thickets. However, another inconsistency with the official information from the encyclopedia. I found these birds even in the steppe zone, where there are no tall trees at all, only low-growing thickets.
The common redstart (Phoenicurus phoenicurus)
I was somehow asked in the comments why this bird was so named. I dont know. In Russian-speaking countries, this bird is called something like a "burning tail". This is due to their manner of twitching their bright tail. And while shaking, her tail looks like a burning flame.
