The authorities of Missoula County, the US state of Montana, decided not to impose restrictions on the production of crypto-currency - at least in the coming year. Officials admitted that they do not understand enough about the issue yet, writes CCN.

The government authorized mining

The government of Missoula was to make a decision to limit the mining of crypto-currency in the territory of the municipality until August 1. However, according to the results of the debate between opponents and supporters of the crypto currency, the county commissioner Jean Curtiss said that the authorities will not yet regulate the extraction of coins.

While we do not understand the consequences of this decision, we will not accept it. Perhaps the ban on mining of crypto currency in the county could play against us in the future.

Missoula and other counties of Montana are popular among miners due to relatively low electricity tariffs and low temperatures, which allows entrepreneurs to reduce the cost of cooling equipment.
