ราคาบิทคอยน์ปรับตัวลงกว่า 42% แล้วหลังจากเริ่มมีการซื้อขายบิทคอยน์ในปีนี้และราคาของบิทคอยน์ทะยานขึ้นไปถึง 13,000 ดอลลาร์ต่อ1 บิทคอยน์
ราคาบิทคอยน์ ซื้อขายเมื่อวันจันทร์ (26มี.ค) ปรับตัวร่วงลง 7% ปิดตลาดต่ำกว่า 8,000 ดอลลาร์ต่อ 1 บิทคอยน์ หลังจาก บริษัททวิตเตอร์ ประกาศว่า บริษัทจะห้ามการลงโฆษณาที่มีเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับการระดมทุนด้วยการเสนอขายโทเคนสกุลเงินดิจิทัล (ไอซีโอ)รวมทั้งการส่งเสริมการขายโทเคน และการให้บริการกระเป๋าเงินดิจิทัล
นอกจากนี้ นโยบายใหม่ของทวิตเตอร์จะส่งผลให้มีการระงับโฆษณาจากแพลตฟอร์มซื้อขายสกุลเงินดิจิทัล และมาตรการของทวิตเตอร์มีขึ้น หลังจากที่เฟซบุ๊คและกูเกิลประกาศห้ามการโฆษณาในลักษณะเดียวกันก่อนหน้านี้
