Nasdaq Is Set To Add Bitcoin and Ethereum Price Index and 22 Trillion
Yup that's right Nasdaq is going to add tickers for Bitcoin and Ethereum which should at the least help provide more viewership and buzz around these two cryptocurrencies.
From what I can see though this is just a show of price as a index ticker and nothing more. It can not be traded as of yet on Nasdaq but that may change later on and this could be one of the first steps to getting to that goal.
In other news the USA is now 22 trillion in debt. Which Obama really skyrocketed the national debt more then any president before him.
What this clearly spells is the next time we run into a financial crisis which seems to only be 1-3 years away its going to be clear that the USA just wont ever be able to repay this debt. Which will mean inflation will skyrocket and the printing of fiat will rise.
That scenario very well might end up skyrocketing cryptocurrency and why I believe the next 1-3 years of cryptocurrency are going to look very bright.
The visibility that the listing of the index would cause is encouraging as it coukd lead to more interest in the asset class in general. Now that institutions are getting more involved, more attention will naturally occur.
