Satoshi Nakamoto - Mystery Solved.

in #bitcoin5 years ago

Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? This question has been asked by many, but many don't realize (as I didn't), the mystery has already been solved.

Apparently, journalists today do not have the same drive, or investigative initiative like the Woodward & Bernstein-types of yesteryear. Microbloggers and other self-proclaimed journalists working in remote locations supply the world with frontier justice over social media. Facts often become clouded or disappear altogether in a sea of real time news. Say it now, figure it out later. Never thought I would say I missed the 1990’s.

I am merely a cryptocurrency enthusiast, the only tools at my disposal - a laptop, internet access and above average intelligence. The fact that I could determine (in my opinion of course) who Satoshi Nakamoto is with such little effort, is a real testament to the generational gap I must have from today’s 20 something year old. This so called “mystery for the millennials” was easier for me to solve than picking out the murder suspect on an episode of Law & Order by reading the opening credits (typically the big named “guest starring” character). Well that’s not true. It did take a few sleepless nights. Granted I have not done any follow up work on my deductions, but in my opinion, everyone who has been named in the media or claimed to be Satoshi himself is either mistaken or just flat out lying. Obviously, the NSA and other government entities have had this information for years, which is why I am assuming there has been no press about this, as it somehow gets buried. Remember when the FBI was kicking down doors across the globe to find Satoshi a few years ago? Then that suddenly stopped abruptly. Here’s the thing about that, the United States Intelligence community does not abruptly stop searching for someone. Obviously, this person/people were found, after all, I am using the method of research that was most likely used by the NSA to find Satoshi in the first place. Stylometry. So, enough grandstanding, here three names of the people, of which in my humble opinion, either one, two or all are Satoshi Nakamoto:

Neal King. Vladimir Oksman. Charles Bry.

I know right? Shocking. Yeah. I don’t know who the hell any one of these guys are either. And, the more I thought about it, the less I cared. So, one, some or all these mystery men created the protocol for blockchain technology and Bitcoin. Even if my deductions are on point…who cares? If you look at other encryption patents for banking around the time Bitcoin’s whitepaper was released, you would see that if one of these three did not invent it, someone else would have, or at least come up with something very similar. Based on my research, I believe blockchain technology came to fruition primarily through the usage of these individuals’ predecessors research and advancements in technology that allowed them to continue work that could not be continued in the years prior. That’s not to say Satoshi Nakamoto isn’t a genius or to discredit his/their work in any way. I believe that Bitcoin is quite possibly one of the greatest inventions of our time, and in coming years will evolve the finance and banking sectors globally. However, Bitcoin and blockchain technology was an inevitability. And these individuals were very smart in keeping themselves anonymous to most of the world. Sometimes; the world needs a mystery. It’s better not to know, and often, we are not allowed to know. But, for those of you who want to, here’s how I pinpointed these three:

Searched NSA Satoshi Nakamoto. Came up with a few articles that said, to make a long story short, that the NSA knows who Satoshi is and that they found him by using Stylometry. Stylometry - the statistical analysis of variations in literary style between one writer or genre and another.

Searches led me to start analyzing Bitcoin whitepaper, which has very little unique phraseology. A couple of people who were first trying to identify Satoshi with these methods found a phrase that I too agreed was unique beyond the point of a colloquialism. The phrase was “computationally impractical to reverse”. My next logical step was Google, but with quotation marks.

Exact search parameters were “computationally impractical to reverse” 2010 patent. I thought of adding patent into the search parameters because I kept seeing Google Patent search results in my previous searches that included the word “invention”. Every result was for something relating to Bitcoin. Except for one. Patent US20100042841A1 – Updating and Distributing Encryption Keys. The three people listed above are on this patent. Mystery solved. So why isn’t this published by anyone? Well come to find out it is, here and there on various message boards where people are talking about Satoshi. But, without exact keywords inputted into a search engine (or if you just search the patent number above) it is difficult to find.

Apparently these three guys have been asked and vehemently deny being the creators of Bitcoin. But, nonetheless, in my mind, we have our culprits. I think Bitcoin is game changer as far as storage of value, sending and receiving money. Blockchain technology has limitless possibilities, and a financial evolution is upon us because of Bitcoin’s existence. So, I’ll just say, thanks guys!
