The Ministry of Finance of Vietnam wants to ban the import of equipment for mining, arguing that the complexity of the regulation of the crypto industry. It is reported by VnExpress.

The Ministry said that " mining devices are used for the emergence of new cryptocurrencies and help to carry out operations with them, which are difficult to control by the state."

The reason for considering this ban was a fraud in Saigon, when 32 thousand people invested in the company Modern Tech Jsc, trading in crypto-currencies iFan and Pincoin, and lost 15 trillion Dong (more than $658 million).

According to the newspaper, in April, 6300 mining installations were brought to Vietnam. In 2017, the country imported 9300 units of equipment.

Recall, from January 1 in Vietnam came into force the decision of the Central Bank of the country to ban bitcoin.
