Norwegian company kryptovault In noise dispute
The Norwegian company kryptovault is in dispute with neighbors and the municipality regarding noise coming from there bitcoin mining farms.
The neighbors of both sites (one with 2000 and one with 9500 machines) have sent in complaints regarding the ever so familiar hizzing sound from fans.
The dispute has been brought up from a municipal level with kryptovault stating that since they regard their Buisness as an industrial facility they should be allowed to make the sound. And if they get the permission already have Chinese investors ready to set up more locations.
It will be interesting to follow this case as it evolves!
