Many people do not trust mining because of the high cost of the services needed to obtain it, such as equipment (a computer with very good characteristics) and electricity consumption. However this does not stop or stop the mining and therefore the growth of this currency, its impact has been so great that throughout the network you see users sharing links, giving information, teaching mining etc.
In my opinion bitcoin does not lack much to become the world currency and displace $ from the position where it has been in recent years, I read several articles where it is said that bitcoin would be the currency that would solve most of the problems of the market.
