Royal family drives wedge in Arab finances!

With the arrest of Prince Alwaleed bin Talal (wealthiest Arab in the whole world), political and financial uncertainty has risen to an all time high in the Arab world recently. We are seeing the digital shift in currency as the ultimate financial foundation to the whole world, now for the oil & gold tycoons of the Middle East as well.

With recent attempts at purging corruption from the the Saudi government, HRH Mohammed Bin Salman has been leading the charge toward a renewed Saudi Royal house. Bank accounts and financial assets are being frozen, higher ranking members of the royal house are being arrested. Security forces arrested 11 princes, four ministers and dozens of former ministers and prominent businessmen, according to Saudi media and a senior official who spoke on condition of anonymity. Prince Miteb, son of the late King Abdullah, was removed from his post as head of the Saudi National Guard. Uncertainty is somewhat of an understatement to say the least, considering the circumstances.

“Laws will be applied firmly on everyone who touched public money and didn’t protect it or embezzled it, or abused their power and influence,” King Salman said in comments shown on state TV. “This will be applied on those big and small, and we will fear no one.”

Petrodollar instability alleviated by Bitcoin.

Whenever foul play is afoot in any form by governments, people often find their safe haven of wealth in any way possible. In the past this was gold, however with Bitcoin on the rise as a popular alternative, the facts about it's decentralization and tendency to be without boundaries will prove to be a wise investment now and in the days ahead.
