My Take

Friedman is displaying a positive attitude towards the blockchain technology and although she may have a bit of a doubt about cryptocurrency, she hopes that supporters of the digital space will come together to agree on thanks.

Opening a cryptocurrency exchange in NASDAQ will be one of the biggest steps in the maturity of cryptocurrency market. However, she expressed this intention when the market has reached maturity. Now it has become "which comes first, the egg or the chicken" case.

Maturity of cryptocurrency Market depends largely on financial organizations like NASDAQ. It is believed that the reason why Bitcoin almost broke the $20,000 level was because of CBOE offering Bitcoin Futures. Once NASDAQ opens a cryptocurrency Exchange, other Financial Brokers will follow suit and cryptocurrency will have its rightful place in the financial Market.
