The word "investing" is misleading when it comes to Bitcoin

Many people hesitate to get into crypto because they "have never invested before" and they're scared not to have enough financial knowledge.

While we do have to learn how the crypto world works, I find this word quite misleading. Because what do we actually do, beside simply "exchanging" currencies? Nothing much.

I think "exchanging" sounds much less intimidating than "investing". Doesn't it?
