    That is insane to think about. If only I had a time machine.

    The story of that pizza is pretty interesting though. My understanding is that the individual who bought it was not only one of the first miners of BTC but also one of the first miners to start using GPU instead of just a standard hard drive. Because of the increased computing power compared to others, they were acquiring a significant amount of BTC. But they also wanted BTC to succeed. So they wanted to distribute some of their BTC to others in order to grow the network and also demonstrate that BTC can be used to purchase things. My facts could be wrong but thats what I remember reading in the book "Digital Gold." Its an interesting story nonetheless.
