I do not know who is FOMOing but what I see is just a normal crazy Bitcoin move. But I think that new people are coming in because of the series of good news that we are getting.

One such news is that Fidelity will be allowing its users to trade cryptos most probably Bitcoin and it will be nice if they would allow other alts to be included in their trading realm.

That will be indeed some big monies coming into the crypto space.. I think big entities are buying in right now in anticipation of a more BTC valuation within this year hopefully.

The other news is that Facebook will launch its coin to be used in its own platform and possibly can be traded in exchanges.

Now I do think that that issue will make facebook users discover and use other cryptos other than Facebook coin which is BTC and the alts.

Now the demand in turn for Bitcoin will improve if not skyrocket and this is an absolutely good news for bitcoin hodlers and to the general crypto space.
