This phase marks the beginning of price breaking the structure of the whole distribution pattern. It is usually marked by a decline of price to, or past the mid point of the entire TR. This is also further evidence of greater supply than demand.
In this phase, there are frequent failed rallies. These are interpreted as the last points of supply and typically become opportunities for smart traders to begin allocating shorts.
