Today I'm using three different trading tools and indicators: Bollinger Bands, Stochastic RSI and MACD.

Bollinger Bands show we are right at the moving average of $6,200. High ranges at $6,240 and low ranges at $6,170.

Stochastic RSI indicates normal conditions (30).

MACD shows we are below the Zero Line but not by much. The histogram is tapering down however so we have begun to lose a little bit of steam.

Price Targets:

Entry $5,775- $6,200

Exit $6,400- $7,000

Soon after my last post we had a serious huge red candle on the charts which dropped the price of Bitcoin over $200 in just a single hour of trading. The price has had a hard time recovering as many of the crypto markets are still dealing with the aftershock.

The cause of this massive loss is not fully clear but there was a very large transaction of over 22,000 BTC from a single whale's wallet around the same time. Manipulation is suspected - by causing a flash crash it would create an even better buying opportunity for alt-coins which take magnified losses.

Bitcoin's dominance has increased in the meanwhile, rising back up to 54% total market cap! This is because of the way the crypto markets are structured with BTC being the central trading pair. It is the golden standard of crypto and I always recommend holding at least SOME Bitcoin for long term.
