Bitcoin.org changes design
The official website of Bitcoin will change its design after 8 years of existence. The choice of the aesthetic direction was, as for Bitcoin, decided by the community following a vote.
More modern interface, minimalistic patterns and icons and a revised home page in its format , the redesign of the Bitcoin.org site will align with the new requirements of the websites of our time.
Created by Satoshi Nakamoto and the developers in charge of Bitcoin in 2010 , it was made sure that all the changes related to the Bitcoin.org website, whether in substance or in form, should first of all give rise to to a consensus from the Bitcoin community. Moreover, the latter can make its own comments, changes or new ideas for the site.
The directions taken by this redesign result from a vote that began on February 4 , covering three separate proposals. With 45% of the votes, the third version will be the one that will be applied by Bitcoin.org, followed very closely by version 1 with 42% of the votes.
Until today, bitcoin.org had only experienced minor changes. With this new visual, the website repositions the image it gives of Bitcoin, thanks to its more modern and technological aspect, while reflecting the importance of its community in the philosophy inherited from Satoshi Nakamoto.
