Shift in the Bitcoin Richest Wallet List from Nov 2017 to 3 Jan 2019

I found an interesting image on my PC today as I made a screen shot of Richest Bitcoin wallets in November 2019 and compared it to the same list today.

It is very interesting to see how the bearish markets in 2018 shuffled things around the Bitcoin space.

Here is the image from November 2017.

At that stage there were only 2 accounts with more than 100 000 Bitcoins in the wallets. This was 1.78% of all coins in circulation at that stage. It would've been lovely to sit on those accounts in November 2017 just before the old time high of December 2017. Who knows how many of those tokens were sold at the top of the market. I must say it is very difficult to hit a sell at the top of the market, but if you have so many Bitcoins, you have a lot of influence in the market and most probably a lot of insight of what might be happening in the near future.

Another very interesting aspect to check out in 2017 was that more than 57% of all wallets in existence had less than 0.001 Bitcoins. This accumulates to an incredible 2321 BTC or more than 15 Million Dollars.

This screenshot was made today on 3 January 2019, on the 10th anniversary of when the genesis block was created.

10 Years after the creation of Bitcoin, 5 wallets own a combined total of more than 570 000 Bitcoins or 3.27% of all Bitcoins in existence today.

I am sure a lot of you can do some deeper analysis on the shifts within the wallets, I just found it very interesting when I compared the images.

Happy 10th Birthday Bitcoin!!!

Happy Steeming!
