Bitcoin increases by a factor of 10 every 2 years?
According to this little tidbit from a time traveler that is exactly the case.
I have not yet pulled up the charts to verify...
But according to him, bitcoin first increased by 10X ever year. Then the pace slowed.
Now, we increase at a rate of 10X every 2 years.
Which would mean that after $10k in 2017, we are due to hit $100k before the end of 2019!

So far his math has worked out (according to him).
We have 6 months left to judge if he is right this time.
I am betting not.

He did call the $10k by 2017 5 years ago... not bad. Things looked a lot different back then.
So many people making calls, someone's occasionally going to hit a few numbers. I just meant it's easier to suspend disbelief a littler farther in the future. We could be exploring space and found a wormhole by then!
