Good point about the certifications. In other words, if horn had the same certifications then the price would vary between each individual production. That is true, yet the laws of supply and demand still exist in the diamond industry as a whole. Regardless of certifications, if there is a flood of diamonds in the market then the price of all diamonds will drop. Basically the price of each individual diamond (synthetic or not) has to factor in the supply/demand (what a person will probably pay) into the price.

re: Synthetic horn as a bioplastic and competitor to petroleum-based plastics:

I agree that can be a bigger market, but cost of production as well as scale (can enough be produced to meet demand?) as well as other factors weigh in whether synthetic horn can capture any of that market.

However, electric cars are more expensive than gas cars, but that sector has a lot of press and marketing working for them at this point - not to mention Tesla is a status symbol and a just a cool gadget to own.

Let me ask you this: your website doesn't focus on synthetic horn being a threat to plastics. Is that because it really isn't due to various reason/factors? Can it every be? If so, i'm curious why your website and press isn't more centered/marketed towards that idea.
