Bitso - Largest Crypto Exchange In Latin America Lowers Its Trading Fees

Bitso.com is the largest crypto exchange in Latin America and starting June 12th, 2018 they will be lowering their exchange fees.

I got an email from them yesterday that read:

Every day we work to provide a safe, reliable, fair and transparent service. We have big plans for our users, for Mexico and for the rest of Latin America.

A big step to achieve our mission, is to reduce our fees.

Which come into effect from Tuesday June 12, 2018, 11:59 pm Mexico City.

We change the mechanism of commissions to provide greater flexibility to our cryptotraders and switched to a maker-taker model. If you're not sure that means Maker or Taker in our Help Center , we explain these concepts .

Commissions markets between cryptos (criptomonedas against bitcoin exchanges), start at 0.075% for Makers, while markets against fiat start at 0.50%. The lower commission reaches 0.045% for markets between crypto, depending on the volume transacted over the past 30 days.

Even with this change, we will not charge fees for withdrawals and anchorages in Mexican Pesos via SPEI.

With this we are the largest exchange in Latin America with the best prices in the region.

Their fees were 1% to buy or sell any of the coins they offered and zero fees to transfer fiat in or out of their exchange.

Since I started using them about 8 months ago not only has every exchange or transfer went through without a problem, but they have also added some more coins to their list.

You can now trade, buy, and sell Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Ripple, and Ethereum.

You can make smaller trades without verification and when I did bump up my monthly limit they were responsive to my questions and have great customer service. Read more details about that here
