SCAMvertising, crypto scams, Ponzi schemes ...

You are reading your favourite blog/webiste and at the bottom of the article, you see Taboola/Outbrain ads like "Look like 18 year old from #CITY earned millions".

#CITY is determined from IP address.

That's really common. Most sane people ignore these bullshit selling ads.

And guess what I do. I click on them. I burn the budget of scammer. With every click, I might saved one weak mind from being scammed.

Same applies to Ponzi schemes or upgraded "Ponzi schemes" hiding behind "fresh new business model" like Mining contracts sold by those who didn't have any ASIC hardware in 2014-16 or many of ICO's nowadays (if your business model doesn't suck, you will get funding from banks or angel investors).

On other hand, many people are promoting these scams. They are as guilty. They are delivering victims to scammers, praying to cashout their "referral commission" before the scam goes bust.

Dumb and evil people does that. If you make the effort to advertise something, advertise something which will last for years (affiliate program, e-shop, advertising platform/traffic broker, paid services with recursive payments).

Finding victims is easy. Revenue is low.
Finding happy affiliate/referral joining some quality program, giving him guidance how to max his profit or other kind of gain is WIN-WIN for both of you.
