Great concept when the network is congested but it has been pretty empty lately which doesn’t really incentivize the use of these sidechains or other scaling solutions. Developers should first focus on more front end user interfaces to drive adoption then work on scaling.
Agreed what really needs to happen is more systems need to start using the bitcoin network and people need to start using it as well. I feel like everyones buying and hodling
