Starbucks and amazon work with bitcoin
According to recent reports by Tom Lee from The Wall Street Journal, the crypto currency will go up in the coming days. Foreseeing that Bitcoin will reach $ 25,000 by the end of this year, Lee also stated that many companies will offer Bitcoin support this year. These include Facebook, Amazon and Starbucks.
Starbucks will also start paying with bitcoin
Starbucks Chairman Howard Schultz has announced that in the past few days the company will use block chain technology for the main Starbucks application. We will all see together in the coming months whether Lee's claim about Bitcoin has turned into reality.
I am very interested in seeing how Amazon will adopt and handle BTC (and other currencies) from a seller perspective. I suspect they will immediately convert to USD or the seller's local fiat currency unless they set up the appropriate wallets and such in their seller account.
Either way as an Amazon seller myself I am happy to see more ways for my customers to pay. Fingers crossed on this one!
