Bitcoin reaches number 2 in Google searches!

As the year winds to a close, I checked Google trends to see what were the biggest searches. https://trends.google.com/trends/yis/2017/GLOBAL/

Interestingly, Bitcoin is the number 2 searched term under “news”.

It is also number 3 under “how to”, just behind “how to make slime” and “how to make solar glasses”. I didn’t realize slime was so popular!

Given the high level of global interest, I think Bitcoin has a good future. I would be interested if, in the new few years, any other cryptocurrencies make the list.
