Burger King in Moscow signals that it will be able to receive bitcoins very soon.
In Moscow a unit of the UZNAY VSE network representative local of the BURGUER KING began a pilot project of acceptance of Bitcoins in the purchase of its products and soon promises to expand the action to other affiliates.
The fast food chain is following the Russian move around Bitcoin, where many people have been showing interest in the currency with rumors that the local government is wanting to legitimize Bitcoin as a legal tender.
Network director Burger King Russian Dmitri Medovoy has told local media that he is seeking developers to install a system in their boxes to broaden the acceptance of currency in their network.
If Russia recognizes the value of Bitcoin as an asset, it will have a major impact on the global market for that currency.
